This is my favorite job to date. I was basically given carte blanche on the design, and we did our thing. At first the client wanted either an addition or four seasons room. But after discussing, we decided that a covered deck would complement her new pool. Then throw in the full kitchen, fire place & entertainment (T.V., Surround Sound, Tuner, Karaoke… the works) - And now we have the ultimate set up for parties & get-together’s.
A few of the more unique aspects of this project are:
-The Standing Seam accent roof
-We custom made “Reclaimed” Rough Hewn beam coverings
-A 5’ ZLINE Hood (for the grill & cooktop)
-A 2-Sided gas/LP fireplace with LED’s
-Small accent lights in the stairs and under railings
Another part of the job was to replace the 6’ standard deck with something bigger. So we widened the opening to 12’ and installed a 4-Panel sliding French door. We also excavated & built a custom walk out egress entrance to the basement.
